Viggo turned five! Five! It feels so very big, to him and Mama. This year he seemed particularly excited as his special day approached, so to count down the days we made a paper chain, removing a chain every day we got closer to his birthday.
The special day started like birthdays here always do: gifts followed by a special breakfast (pancakes! his favorite).
We made a point to do things Viggo loves to do-- reading bug books, spending time outside-- making it a true celebration of him.
I love to see him come into his own, and follow his interests.
Five! I do believe this is going to be a very good year.
