After a night of rain, we come outside to more green and mud puddles. I spend the morning watching Viggo play, looking at the new blooms (our tulips are out!) and a new robin nest in our oak tree.
I make a mental note to fix the fencing around our young pecan trees so the sheep do not eat the leaves, to buy more chicken food. Sometimes I feel two steps ahead, sometimes ten behind.
Viggo is so delighted to spend his time outside again, and visits every new mud puddle with aplomb. There are baths and laundry every day! Much to do, much to enjoy-- such is the process of shaking off that winter sleep.
We push up our sleeves and dig right in.
