Slow Growth

In spring I like to make a point to walk around and take note of the small, subtle changes that are happening outside.

Our fruit trees are beginning to blossom, more flowers opening every day. It has taken so long to get here.

For our garden this year, we will stick to mostly berries, dye plants and medicinal herbs.  I ordered so many seeds!  Oh goodness, I do that every winter! (You too?)  Seed catalogues are a salve for my February soul.

With Soren being older it seems we can do a little more than we did last year. It feels good to be making plans and getting dirty in the garden again.
