This last stretch of winter has me feeling restless. I'd surely love to see some green and life again. But not yet. I know this, as soon as my feet hit the chilly floor in the morning. Not yet. Winter is still very much here.
So what to do? I think the remedy is to keep busy. A good amount of being rooted in the present-moment and allowing space to daydream of what's to come.
For now, that means: peruse seed catalogues. Make plans for the spring. Take walks. Be cozy on the inside, stay connected, follow the light around. Do good work with my hands.
So I will make it, during this last bit of winter, squash and wool sweaters and all.
But spring, do come soon.
